Antique Edwardian Sheraton Inlaid Mahogany Writing Desk C1900

Description

This is a lovely antique edwardian sheraton inlaid mahogany writing desk and dating from aorund 1900. It has a raised back rail with a later embossed leather writing surface and with a wide satinwood banding to the edge. There is a squared and inlaid banded drawer to either side of a central drawer again with wide inlaid banding and with a shaped frieze below of inlaid sunburst design. All of the drawers are mahogany lined with original brass handles. It stands on squared tapered legs which are strung to the edges and on castors.

In very good condition a couple of very old small ink stains to the very edge of the desk but nothing that detracts from this most attractive writing desk and whoever buys this will be very pleased with their purchase.

It measures:

30" high X knee height 25" X 23" deep X 48" wide
