Henry Henry Schouten (Indonesia, ca. 1857 - Brussels , 1927) was a Belgian painter, most famous as animal and landscape painter. He also used the pseudonym Joseph Klaas. He graduated from the Academy of Brussels (1876-1881). He underwent a strong influence by the animal painter Alfred Verwee .
He also painted a number of still lifes with flowers or fruit.

Schouten was highly talented and very often socialised and painted in partnership with many other artists of his era. He often signed works under different names and known to have used in excess of 22 signatures.
He exhibited in Brussels with the Union of Arts from 1882.
