Summer Harvest - Antique Oil Painting

1920 - 1940
Description

Oil on panel by the Belgium artist Octave Pycke (1904-1968). The painting is signed, in excellent condition and mounted in a wooden frame which has had some restoration. The paintig dates fro around 1940-1950.

Octave Pycke was a mainly a landscape painter but he also painted still lifes and sculpted.. He painted in the post-impressionist style and studied at the Craps Institute. He took part in several exhibitions and has work owned by the municipality of Anderlecht. He is listed in the Benezit Dictionary of Artists.
