Very Good Victorian Gilt Tantalus

Description

A superb quality mid/late 19th century gilt TANTALUS (Decanter Stand) in lovely original condition.

Of very heavy quality, the frame is of gilded brass with a cast carrying handles and engraved "Gothic" style mounts. It retains its original set of three cut-glass decanters and stoppers, and is complete with its original Bramah working key. 17ins long; 16ins high; 7.5ins deep (43 x40.5 x 19cms)
