English Antique Ivory and Silver Gilt Perpetual Desk Calendar310

Description

A wonderful piece of thick creamy Ivory was used to create this delightful desk top calendar with silver gilt (gold on sterling silver) mounts.

The calendar stands on it's original folding easel back stand which is attached with the aid of a solid / sterling silver hinge which is hallmarked.

The full English hallmark can be found on the underside of the cradle which contains the cards. The hallmark is for London 1924. The cards are all complete with some variation in colour from the sun, but all in very good condition.

A wonderful and unusual piece in superb undamaged condition measuring 4 1/2" tall x 3 3/8".
