A superb Chinese baluster vase with bud finial cover on a carved and pierced hardwood stand. This fabulous oriental vase is finely painted with a continuous domestic scene of family and attendants in a garden. This charming scene, painted in striking greens, iron red and complementing shades, is banded with trellis borders that are punctuated with flowers and precious objects. The condition of this late 18th/early 19th Century vase is excellent with no chips, good glaze and crisp well defined decoration. Standing on its square pierced hardwood base, this is a stunning vase that would enhance any interior.
