A fine pair of Japanese Meiji period bronze vases each in the form of a bamboo trunk inlaid with silver and copper depicting growing bamboo shoots and leaves. These charming vases are very much designed in the Japanese taste and each is signed on the side, apart from minor wear commensurate with age both vases are in excellent condition with no damage standing 6 inches tall.
