Description

A lovely Queen Anne style burr walnut side table dating from the late 19th Century. Very well made in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. The rectangular top is cross banded as are the drawer fronts. There is an arrangement of one long central drawer flanked by a pair of shorter , deeper drawers; all fitted with charming solid brass handles. The table stands well on long elegant cabriole legs which terminate in pad feet and are embellished with carved shell motifs to the knees. This versatile table would sit well within a variety of different room scenarios within the modern home. It is offered for sale in excellent original condition with a wonderful mellow colour and patina.
