A stunning, heavy gauge, solid silver toast rack, Unusual and rare as it is designed for 2 slices, with two compartments forming the body and a neat handle at the top. Clear hallmarks are visible on the base for the Sheffield Assay Office with a date mark for 1911 and maker''s marks for the renowned maker''s Walker & Hall. The maker''s marks are also visible on the base of the rack. Each section has space for toast up to 1.3 cm thick making it a usable item.
Feels lovely to hold, great proportions and a good weight.
