In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
It has a lovely shape with ten spindles, curved arms and a generous seat. It has four legs, terminating in brass castors. The chair swivels on a large bolt and is adjustable in height. It is made of Oak and has a leather-look red seat.

It is in good condition for its age. It has developed a lovely rich patina and is structurally very sound, having had the swivel mechnism repaired and tightened. It is not without a few small marks here and there but nothing untoward for a chair of this age and it has been cleaned and polished to a good standard. The upholstery is in good condition with no major splits or tears and just a few small nicks and age related marks.

It is approximately 34" (87cm) high and the arms are 24" (60cm) wide across. The seat is approximately 19" (48cm) deep and 20" (51cm) wide.
