Description

Antique Swiss silver half hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are Swiss hallmarks inside the three covers. The case has engine turned detail on both the front and back and it is in good condition with just light surface marks. The front has Roman numerals filled with dark blue enamel set around a small lens. There is a chip to the lens but not too noticeable to the naked eye.

The winding crown pushes in to release the front cover. Inside there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.

The dial is also in good condition with blued steel hands (including the special hour hand for half hunter watches so the time can be read when the front cover is closed. The hands are initially pin-set.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
