Description

Large mid 19th.c. high back pine settle c.1850. Bow shaped, with a high backrest which continues to the floor and shaped wing ends to protect the sitters from drafts. Board seat with some later repairs and a cushion. With cut away hand grips and iron handles at both ends so it could be easily drawn up to the fire. Very good condition, solid and sturdy. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
