The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch has a hand-winding movement, calibre 982, which is working nicely.

The watch itself measures 24.5mm wide excluding the winding crown and 27mm high excluding the lugs. The case is 14ct gold filled and it is in good condition for a 1940s piece with just light surface marks. The finish has worn off the winding crown. The inside of the case back is signed Hamilton.

The watch glass has minor marking, not very noticeable to the naked eye.
The signed dial is in its original finish… there is a little marking. Original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial with sunken centre and an outer minute track.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
