The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed American Waltham U.S.A. Traveler and the serial number of 23604456 dates it back to 1920. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch itself measures 50.5mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
. The inner dust cover has a personal incripsion dated 1936. The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover.

Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition. The original glass lenses were often replaced with acrylic as it is much more durable and looks just like glass.
The signed white enamel dial has a faint hairline crack between the sub seconds dial and 5 o'clock but otherwise it is in nice condition. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
