Pair Regency Mahogany Hall Chairs. Circa 1830

Description

Attractive pair late regency mahogany 'strawberry hill gothic' hall chairs with finely carved backs and standing on well turned front legs and with out-swept back legs. All in fine original condition with only a couple of minor repairs to top of a couple of back legs. Both are strong and firm. Lovely rich colour with great waxed patina.

Size; 33" high, 17" wide at front seat, 17" deep, 17" height seat.
