Bow Ended French Marble Topped Commode

1900 - 1920
Description

A lovely French commode in walnut and kingwood of bow-ended form. With a varigated marble top which sits over the 3-drawer commode. It is decorated throughout with panels of geometric parquetry work inlay with chequer banding surrounds. It is fitted with crisp gilt brass mounts and drawer handles. This splendid commode is of quite unusual shape and is offered for sale in excellent original condition. It has a lovely mellow colour and patina. It would sit well in many different room scenarios within the modern home. It is finished to the rear so could be free-standing within a room if desired.
