Description

This FINE WILLIAM IV METAMORPHIC SERVING TABLE dates from circa 1830.

The TABLE has a weighted 'rise and fall' mechanism which enables it to be transformed into a THREE TIER SERVING BUFFET by simply raising the top leaf. The mechanism is in full working order.

The TABLE, which has its original brass castors set beneath the bun feet, is a good example of its kind and would grace any home. It would looked very eye-catching 'dressed' with food and drink on a special occasion.
