Lancaster Antiques has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
They have been polished but not lacquered and both are in very good condition.
They measure 18cm in height and the sconces are approximately 12cm in diameter. The handles are approximately 11cm in length. One handle is more rigid than the other, suggesting perhaps one chamberstick was used more.
