Description

This super PAIR OF VICTORIAN STAFFORDSHIRE DOGS, with good definition to their coats and skilfully decorated with bright copper lustre, date from circa 1860.

They are marked with a number 1, in relief, to the bases and stand 12.5 inches (32 cm) high.

The DOGS are in good condition with no cracks or restoration. There are a couple of nicks to the toes of one DOG but nothing that detracts from their appearance.

Placed either side of a mantel piece they would sit proudly and receive many compliments.
