Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Dutch landscape paintings from this period feature realistic depictions of rural scenes, agricultural life, cottages, and atmospheric skies, using natural light and subtle earth tones.

Artists traditionally applied oil paint onto stretched linen canvas or timber panels, which were subsequently housed in carved or moulded timber frames finished with gold leaf.

Authentic period paintings show uniform fine craquelure across the paint layer, historic oxidation on the timber or canvas reverse, and period-appropriate frame construction.

Hang the framed picture above a fireplace mantelpiece, console table, or sideboard to serve as a focal point that introduces historical depth into modern rooms.

Position the artwork away from direct sunlight, radiators, and high humidity, cleaning the frame gently with a soft dry brush and avoiding liquid solvents on the paint layer.
