Description

A fine 17th century iron bound walnut chest of decorative design. The Iron work laid over sheets of brass creating definition to the decorative ironwork, The walnut is of good patination and has had some wood worm at some stage but not much damage has been done. To the underside you will see the original hand cut nail. The overall condition is very good for the exception of a small chunk missing from the candle box lid.
