Description

Regency rosewood fold over supper table c.1820. Stands flat against the wall as an elegant console table, or turn and open the top to make a useful square table for four. Beautiful highly figured rosewood veneered top with crossbanded edges. Over a shaped apron with a lovely inlaid marquetry panel and applied scrolling acanthus leaf carvings. Raised on a tapering octagonal section column pedestal, also in rosewood, with a carved base. On a shaped rosewood pedestal raised on four turned and reeded bun feet with original brass castors. Excellent colour and condition. Cleaned and polished in our workshops.
