The front cabriole legs caved with acanthus and terminating in puddle pad feet . The frame complete and original beneath the upholstery.
Wonderfully comfortable chair, well padded and with a lovely gentle rake to the back.

This chair would have been made by a skilled craftsman using hand held tools in around 1740.
This is a very heavy, superbly comfortable chair with a good width and depth to the seat, well padded throughout and with a gently raked back.
Dimensions are:
30 inches wide, 39 inches deep and 44 inches high.
