Marble Topped Mahogany Gueridon Centre Table

Description

Superb mid 19th.c. French marble top centre table or gueridon c.1850. Exceptional and original 97 cms diameter variegated grey marble top featuring a shaped edge with concentric rings designed to stop spilt drinks from dripping onto the floor. Over a mahogany veneered apron , raised on a turned column and shaped tripod legs with scrolling acanthus leaf detail and original brass castors. It would look stunning in many different room scenarios within the modern home. It is offered for sale in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
