Gents 1940s Sultana Chronograph Wrist Watch

1920 - 1940
Description

A gents 1940s Sultana chronograph wrist watch.

Sultana was a Swiss company, established in 1937.

The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding Landeron 48 movement which is working nicely.

The watch itself measures 36mm diameter excluding the winding crown and pushers. The case is in good condition, just some marking to the back but nothing too serious at all.

The lens is in good condition, just a short surface mark if you look very closely.

The signed dial is in its original finish which is in good condition with just the odd minor mark. The chronograph feature is operated by pressing the top button to start, and then bottom button to stop and then again to re-set to zero... the hand actually re-sets just a fraction to the right of zero.

A later leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
