Brass ogee bracket feet. A convex painted dial with 5 minute outer band, and blued steel hands, signed 'Hawkins Royal Exchange' (London). A twin fusee mechanism striking the hours on a bell with the makers name engraved to the backplate.

Height 16"/41cms Width 12 1/2" /32 cms Depth 8"/20 cms.
There are a few Hawkins working in London recorded in Loomes' Watchmakers and Clockmakers of The World' book. This example dates to circa 1810.
