A large and fully-fitted SURGEONS OPERATING BOX.

The brass-bound oak case with its brass escutcheon and vacant cartouche, opens to reveal an astonishing array of Surgeon's operating instruments and tools all of finest steel. These are arranged in removable trays (so that they can be sterilised after use) and include clamps; scissors; scalpels; probes; tracheotomy implements; a superb saw with spare blades and a vast number of other items.
