A Quality Walnut Leather Upholstered Wing Chair

A very good quality and well-proportioned leather upholstered carved walnut wing chair circa 1920’s

Having a camel shaped back flanked by out swept winged sides which concave to join the outward scrolling armrests, having brass studwork nailing and terminating in an elegant tightly scrolled column.

The seat having a feather down cushioned squab offering luxurious comfort when seated, supported by finely carved solid walnut cabriole front legs with acanthus leaf and foliate decoration which continues around the frieze of the armchair

In excellent condition this antique leather wing chair has been reupholstered in the traditional manner with hand dyed leather and is not only a very handsome chair but also a very comfortable one as well.

We have a reputation for being long established antique dealers in London having had showrooms concurrently running in Islington, Chelsea and Ascot. We have relocated our new showroom, due to London overheads, easily reached between A1 or A10 to just outside of Hertford, Hertfordshire.
