Military Style Mahogany Pedestal Desk

1900 - 1920
Description

A lovely mahogany military, or campaign, style pedestal desk. Of good construction and decorated with brass strap-work, military style recessed handles and carrying handles. The top is fitted with a sumptuous green leather writing surface decorated with gilt tooling. This desk splits into 3 pieces for ease of installation. It is finished to the rear so could be free standing within a room if desired. We have had it sympathetically repolished in our workshops and it is now offered for sale in excellent condition with a great colour and patina.
