The shaped handle echoes the decoration of the gallery and feet and is centrally mounted on a Corinthian column with beaded knops. To the base of the column is a charming armorial. The matching etched clear glass preserve jars are baluster in shape, with a raised base and flared rim. The bodies are etched with foliar and foliate decoration which also includes intricate banding and dot detailing. The cone shaped lids have a crisp point and the etched decoration is charmingly repeated from the body. A wonderful, decorative, unique piece, still usable today.

Condition :- Excellent, with no loss or damage to the silver plate and no chips or cracks to the glass preserve jars.
