Description

A most unusual antique postage scale dating to around 1900, which folds down for either travel or portability. The top brass pan comes off and the leg on the right hand side swivels around to lay flat.

There is a threaded leg on the right hand side which can be operated to balance the scale before use.

The gauge is a real delight in a white enamel, printed in black.

A most handsome addition to any desk or library shelf, in excellent condition. Measures approximately 10 1/2" tall x 6 1/2" wide.
