A large and decorative clock set by Fritz Marti, in good, clean and bright condition. The clock is classical in style with a restrained architectural flavour. The candelabra have matching bases and 4 arms. The beautiful dial is enamel on copper and is complete with the original blued steel hands.

The French movement is by Fritz Marti and has the clockmakers mark on the movement backplate. It is of excellent quality runs for 8 days, striking half hourly on a bell. Our clockmaker has cleaned and serviced the movement and replaced the pendulum, it is in excellent clean and running condition - click the video clip below to see and hear the movement working.

Condition of the case is very good with a bright and clean finish, there is some minor wear and some tarnish in places. The dial is also in very good condition with just a very small hairline near the left hand winding hole. The candelabra arms are very slightly distorted and one sconce and insert has been replaced at some time with a slightly different design. The set displays very well as you can see in the pictures below.

Complete with pendulum, bell and a suitable key. Full setting up instructions supplied if required.
