A magnificent museum quality English Victorian biscuit box made from silver plate by the silversmith's, Cooper Brothers of Sheffield.

The hexagonal frame stands on four original bun feet, the base as well as the lid is beautifully engraved.

The stunning piece of tactile crystal liner has been intricately hand-cut and is quite outstanding.

Dating to c.1870, it remains in excellent undamaged condition. 6 3/4" x 6 3/4" x 9 1/2" to top of handle while upright.
