Description

A gents 1930s Thomas Russell Premier wrist watch.

The watch has a Swiss hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed and it has the Thomas Russell logo.

The watch itself measures 30mm wide excluding the winding crown and 30mm high excluding the lugs. The case is gold plated and was the better quality Moon model from the English watch case maker Aaron Dennison (who made cases for various watch producers). The case has light surface marking but overall is in good condition. The back of the watch has an inscription from Doncaster Locomotive Works.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed white enamel dial has a couple of hairline cracks radiating out from the centre. A subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute track.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
