Finest Quality English Cut Crystal And Silver Plate Dish / Basket C.1880

A real gem and not to be missed! This is a rare find and exquisite quality. The frame is made from silver plate in a naturalistic bamboo frame with decorative flowers and foliage to either side. The top is crowned with a wonderfully cast Hummingbird, lavishly gilded.
 
The original crystal bowl with it''s fabulous shape and scalloped rim is intricately hand cut on the underside, top-notch and without damage.
 
Victorian in era and English in origin c.1880. 10 1/2'' x 6 3/4'' x 9 3/4'' to top of handle.
