Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 1850s.
His tail curls over his left rear leg. He lies on a rectangular plinth with a recessed edge. The rear with a large shard, but original with the glaze flowing over the shard.
Date c 1830.
Height 9 1/2 inches, width 11 inches, depth 5 1/2 inches.
