Antique Tortoise Shell Coin Purse - Silver Pique Inlay

Dating to the late Victorian period, around 1880, this charming little antique coin purse is blessed with two wonderful pieces of thick tortoiseshell, both with a glossy patina.

The front is embellished with particularly fine and pretty silver pique work including a ribbon and bow motif at the top.

The catch is in good working order and the royal blue interior still remains in great shape too.

Pretty as a picture and remaining in excellent condition, measuring 2 3/4" x 2".
