Description

A most handsome hipflask / liquor flask made from lovely quality crystal with a simple cut design.

The collar, hinged lid and removable drinking cup are made from English sterling silver, both signed by the famous London silversmith, Mappin and Webb. The cup is hallmarked for London 1923 and the collar for 1920; this is common for individual components to have different date letters.

The hinged lid is inset with a lovely piece of period tortoiseshell with intricate silver pique inlay.

Once the cup is removed, the lavishly gilded interior is revealed.

Excellent quality and condition measuring 2 1/2" x 1 1/4" x 5 1/4" tall.
