Puckerings has dated this piece to the 1910s.
Each of the eye pieces is marked by the French manufacturer, L.Petit Fabt., Paris. They are fitted with brass sun shades which pull out to reduce glare in bright light and sunshine.

The leather case is in great condition stamped J. Cripps 1918.
Excellent condition, the binoculars measuring 4 5/8" x 2 1/8" x 4 7/8" expanding to 6 1/2" while sunshades are in operation. The case measuring 5 1/2" x 3" x 8 1/2".
