Antique All Silk Persian Ispahan Rug. Circa 1900

1900 - 1920
Description

Stunning antiques Persian Ispahan all silk rug very finely woven with central white ground with vase and bottom flanked by deer and dogs and all over floral designs. Pinkish red floral borders with a bit of abrash (natural colour variation) near top. Virtually full pile with very little sign of wear. Just a bit of loss on top and bottom fringes. Mounted on wood bar a top for hanging. Lovely soft colours with a high silky gloss. A superb example of Persian weaving in silk as fine as you get. MORE IMAGES ADDED.
