Mid 19th.c. biedermeier style burr walnut chest of drawers with dressing table top c.1850. Lift the top to reveal a mirror and dressing table which automatically slides forward to make a little overhang for your knees. Over four long drawers. Typical for the style applied decoration and brass work is forgoed in favour of the decorative qualities of the burr walnut veneers which are arranged in a symmetrical pattern across the top, table surface and drawer fronts. With canted corners, crisp mouldings, oak drawer linings and original locks. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied.
