French Silver Serving Spoon, Circa 1900

Description

An unusual, beautifully cast French silver serving spoon. The bowl is in the shape of an oyster shell and the handle lovely embossed decoration in relief this spoon would have come from a French silver canteen of superb quality. Circa 1900.

Worldwide, first class, tracked and signed for delivery is included in the price.

Measurements:

Length: 8 3/4" (approx 22.5cm)

Width of bowl: 3 1/4" (approx 8.5cm)

Weight: 111g (approx 3.6 troy ounces)

There's no pearl in this oyster but it's still a treasure none the less!
