The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1870s.
The watch has a key-wound movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch itself measures 54mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks for Chester 1873. The case is in lovely condition.
The small button on the stem is pushed to release the front cover. Inside there is a glass lens which is in good condition. The bezel and lens hinge upwards which then gives you access to the dial.

The enamel dial is in lovely condition. At least one of the hands is a later replacement… one is gold coloured and one is silver.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
