Large Adams Style Neo Classical Mahogany Fire Surround

Description

A superb mahogany fire surround of large proportions. Very well made in solid mahogany in the neo classical manner after Robert Adam. The carved decorations include rams heads, griffins, cherubs and a central urn. The upright pillars flanking the aperture are of architectural fluted form. Offered for sale in very good original condition.
