A 19th Century Brass Door Stop, Door Porter.

The loop handle with scrolling leaf decoration above the long shank, decorated with rising and spreading leaves. The base formed as a lions paw, the interior with a cast iron loading following the shape of the paw.

Date c 1850.

Height 15 inches, width 4 inches, depth 4 inches.
