Late 19th Century Chiming Bracket Clock

Description

A good quality and quite small late 19th century BRACKET CLOCK in perfect working order.

The case is ebonised with its cast brass carrying handle; gilt brass bezel to the front door and solid brass ogee bracket feet. The 8-day movement strikes hours and quarters (Westminster) on five gongs, whilst the dial features a subsidiary "Strike/Silent" dial and a further dial for through-the-dial pendulum adjustment. 14.5ins high; 10ins wide; 7.5ins deep (37 x 25.5 x 19cms)
