Description

A fine quality mahogany & satinwood inlaid Edwardian Period pedestal desk. Having a rectangular solid mahogany top with an inset green gilt and blind tooled leather writing surface with satinwood inlaid banding, above an arrangement of nine rectangular mahogany lined drawers with fine quality brass handles and Hobbs & Co of London locks. The drawer fronts made from solid mahogany with satinwood banding, the sides and reverse of the desk also solid mahogany with satinwood banding. The whole supported on a rectangular mahogany plinth. English circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 48" wide x 27" deep x 29" high (Knee hole 23" high x 19" wide)

Condition: This desk is in wonderful condition, a replacement green leather writing surface. Cleaned and waxed
