A 1920s Buren Stem Winding Pocket Watch.

Description

A 1920s Buren stem winding pocket watch.

The watch has a 15 jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50.6mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Co. The case has a minor indentation to the back but overall is in good condition. The inner case cover has light surface marking from use.

The glass lens has a small nibble to the outer edge at 9 o'clock but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The white enamel dial is in nice condition and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
