Description

A gents 9ct gold Rotary wrist watch, 1949.

The watch has a good quality 17-jewel Swiss hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch itself measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks on the outside of the case back for Dublin 1949. The inside of the case back has Continental gold marks.

The front of the case is in good condition while the back has three or four surface scratches. There is also a 1951 inscription from when the watch was given as a gift.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish and it is in good condition with original hands, red centre seconds and outer minute markers. The subtle different finishes and concentric circles give the watch a charming appearance.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
