Magnificent Mid 19th Century Painted King Size Italian Bed

Description

Magnificent and impressive carved and painted Italian king size bed. Intricate carved panels with floral and garland detail. Central cuffed hand holding a palm leaf symbolising peace. Cared posts with acanthis detail, swags and drapes on bottom board and ball and claw feet. Could be used with either an English king size 150cm x 200 cm mattress as in picture or a European 160cm x 200 cm mattress.

Price includes a 2" upholstered bed base for superior mattress support.
